Cancellation Policy

At Riwayat Couture, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be straightforward and customer-friendly. Please read the following carefully to understand your options when cancelling an order.

1. How to Cancel Your Order

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched from our warehouse. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation will no longer be possible however, you may initiate a return after delivery as per our Returns & Refund Policy.

To cancel your order, you can use any of the following methods:

  • Log in to your account on riwayatcouture.com and navigate to the “My Orders” section. Select the order or item you wish to cancel and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Email us at support@riwayatcouture.com with your order number and cancellation request.
  • Call or WhatsApp us at +91-8587087987 and our team will assist you promptly.

Please Note: We recommend cancelling your order as early as possible. Orders that are already packed or out for dispatch may not be eligible for cancellation even if they have not yet left our facility.

2. Refund Upon Cancellation

Once your cancellation request has been confirmed, your refund will be processed based on the payment method used at the time of purchase:

Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

If your order was placed on a Cash on Delivery basis and cancelled before dispatch, no refund is applicable as no payment was collected from you.

Prepaid Orders (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI or Wallets)

For orders paid via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or any digital wallet, the full amount will be refunded to your original payment source within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.

Please note that while we process refunds promptly on our end, the time taken for the amount to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

3. Orders That Cannot Be Cancelled

The following orders are not eligible for cancellation:

  • Orders that have already been dispatched or are out for delivery.
  • Orders where the item has already been packed and is in transit to the shipping partner.
  • Orders placed during special sales or promotional events may be subject to restricted cancellation terms, which will be communicated at the time of the sale.

4. Cancellation by Riwayat Couture

In rare circumstances, Riwayat Couture reserves the right to cancel an order on its end. This may occur due to:

  • Unavailability of the ordered product or stock discrepancy.
  • Inaccurate pricing or product information at the time of purchase.
  • Inability to verify payment or suspected fraudulent activity.
  • Unforeseen logistical or operational constraints.

In the event of a cancellation from our side, you will be notified promptly and a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
