Shipping Policy
At Riwayat Couture, we are committed to delivering your order swiftly and safely to your doorstep. We have put considerable effort into building a reliable shipping process so that every piece of ethnic wear you order reaches you in perfect condition and on time. Please read our Shipping Policy to understand how we handle deliveries.
1. Shipping Coverage
We currently ship across India only. At this time, we do not offer international shipping. We are continually working to expand our reach and will update this policy if and when international delivery becomes available.
- Shipping is available to all major cities, towns, and pin codes across India.
- If your pin code is not serviceable by our logistics partner, we will notify you promptly after the order is placed.
2. Shipping Charges
We are pleased to offer free shipping on all orders delivered within India, regardless of the order value or the number of items purchased. There are no hidden delivery charges added at checkout.
Free shipping is applicable on all domestic orders. No minimum order value is required to avail this benefit.
3. Delivery Timeframe
We strive to process and dispatch every order as quickly as possible. Below are the estimated timelines:
Order Processing Time: 1–2 business days from the date of order confirmation
Standard Delivery Time: 5–6 business days after dispatch
Total Estimated Delivery: 6–8 business days from the date of order placement
Business days are Monday through Saturday, excluding public holidays. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary slightly depending on your location, courier availability, or unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather or public holidays.
Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next working business day.
4. Order Processing
Once your order is successfully placed and payment is confirmed:
- You will receive an order confirmation via email or WhatsApp with your order details.
- Our team will verify and pack your order within 1–2 business days.
- Once dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation along with a tracking number and courier details.
- You can use the tracking number to monitor your shipment on the courier partner’s website or app.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, a tracking link or tracking ID will be shared with you via email or WhatsApp. You can use this to check the real-time status of your delivery directly on the courier partner’s platform.
If you do not receive a tracking update within 2 business days of placing your order, please contact us and we will look into it immediately.
6. Shipping Delays
While we make every effort to meet our delivery commitments, certain situations may cause unexpected delays. These include:
- Natural calamities, severe weather conditions, or other force majeure events.
- Public holidays or regional shutdowns.
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided at the time of order.
- High order volumes during festive seasons or sale events.
In the event of a significant delay, our team will proactively reach out to you with an update. You are also welcome to contact us at any time for assistance.
7. Failed or Undelivered Orders
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address, unavailability of the recipient, or refusal to accept, the courier partner may attempt re-delivery. After multiple failed attempts, the order may be returned to our warehouse.
- In such cases, please contact us to arrange re-shipment. Re-delivery charges may apply.
- If the failed delivery is due to an error on our part, we will arrange re-dispatch at no additional cost to you.
- We strongly recommend double-checking your delivery address and contact number before confirming your order.
8. Items Damaged During Shipping
We carefully pack all orders to minimise the risk of damage during transit. However, if your order arrives damaged or tampered with, please:
- Refuse to accept the delivery if the packaging appears clearly damaged or opened.
- If damage is discovered after opening, contact us within 24 hours of delivery at support@riwayatcouture.com or +91-8587087987.
- Please share photographs of the damaged packaging and product along with your order number. We will resolve the issue promptly at no additional cost to you.
